We here at Focus the Nation thoroughly enjoyed Bryan Walsh's piece in Good Magazine on what to do post-Copenhagen 2009.

As it states in his article, climate change policy is lacking in the U.S., but with open minds and significant change in innovation and research into clean energy with a focus on education we can start to manage the global situation, securing a status far better than we have now. We must trust our young leaders, our politicos, our innovators, our technicians and our storytellers. Our Focus Organizers are putting effort into Clean Energy Forums across the nation to add their voices to the clean energy dialogue.

Looking for physical change? Look towards Oregon. U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu awarded nonprofit Oregon Built Environment & Sustainable Technologies Center (Oregon BEST) between $200,000 to $1.2 million to put towards their building projects. Check out the press release here. We're glad to see sustainable nonprofits getting a boost for their green projects. Just steps closer to the kind of future we're envisioning.
