1Sky was created in 2007 to focus the power of millions of concerned Americans on a single goal: bold federal action by 2010 that can reverse global warming. 

ACE is a national nonprofit dedicated to educating America's high school students about the science behind climate change and inspiring them to do something about it—while having fun along the way. Founded in 2008, ACE is headquartered in Oakland, California, with offices in New York, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Chicago, New England, Denver, Atlanta, Houston and Austin.

Our mission is to educate, inspire and activate students to curb climate change and its effects, because we believe young adults can make a meaningful impact now.

Supported by robust educational and public policy initiatives, we are making a tangible impact on public awareness concerning the threat of global climate change. To advance state and federal policy that address solutions to global warming, we are mobilizing the public and elected officials through the compelling narrative and credibility of the eyewitness account.

The Energy Action coalition unites a diversity of organizations in an alliance that supports and strengthens the student and youth clean energy movement. The partners of Energy Action work together to leverage our collective power and create change for a clean, efficient, just and renewable energy future. 

Building on the growing momentum for leadership and action on climate change, the Presidents Climate Commitment provides a framework and support for America’s colleges and universities to go climate neutral. 617 colleges have signed the pledge.

The Earth Day Network's mission is to broaden and diversify the environmental movement worldwide, and to mobilize it as the most effective vehicle for promoting a healthy, sustainable environment. 

Green For All is a national organization dedicated to building an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty. By advocating for local, state and federal commitment to job creation, job training, and entrepreneurial opportunities in the emerging green economy – especially for people from disadvantaged communities – Green For All fights both poverty and pollution at the same time. 

NWF's Climate Action Center is a one stop shop for learning and acting on climate change.  National Wildlife Federation works to reach that goal by demanding climate change legislation that includes a cap-and-trade system and dedicated funding to address the impacts of global warming on America's natural resources. Worldchanging is a 501(c)3 media organization that comprises a global network of independent journalists, designers and thinkers covering the world's most intelligent solutions to today's problems.

350.org is an international campaign dedicated to building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis--the solutions that justice demand. Our mission is to inspire the world to rise to the challenge of the climate crisis--to create a new sense of urgency and of possibility for our planet.

ACORE is an organization of member companies and institutions that are dedicated to moving renewable energy into the mainstream of America’s economy, ensuring the success of the renewable energy industry while helping to build a sustainable and independent energy future for the nation. 

The threat of catastrophic climate change is at the top of Avaaz members' concerns -- and bold action on climate is supported in nearly every country in the world. In January 2007, many leaders still refused to even recognize the crisis -- so Avaaz launched a "climate wake-up call" TV ad in four continents, kicking off a multi-year campaign for a strong successor to the Kyoto Protocol. Avaaz has since delivered millions of climate petition signatures to key leaders, including the environment ministers of all the G8 countries, top members of the US Congress, leaders in Brazil and Germany, and, in coalition with partners, Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda before the Hokkaido G8 summit.
The mission of the Institute for Genetic Medicine Art Gallery is to serve as an art-framed forum for open-minded, deliberative discussions on complex social issues that interface with the creative process and findings of research in molecular biology, health and social systems.
