checkmarkWho will be Focusing the Nation?

spacerCheck out the EVER-GROWING LIST of events being organized by colleges, universities, K-12 schools, faith and community groups involved. If you don't see an important school, let us know, or call them up yourself! Incredible involvement is coming from all ends of the spectrum, but check out the FORUM and event profiles on our MAP to connect with other schools in your region and around the country.

spacerOur goal is for 1,000 colleges and universities to address global warming solutions simultaneously. We've already reached 1,000 sign-ups, so now its time for us to turn our attention to making sure each event is a success. Focus the Nation has the potential to reach more than one million students, which means that each school should get at least 50 faculty members and 1,000 students involved on campus on January 31st.

checkmarkHow can faith and community groups get involved?

spacer Faith and community groups will be participating by showing the 2% SOLUTION, taking part in the CHOOSE YOUR FUTURE VOTE on the top 5 policy solutions, and partnering with their local universities to get involved with TEACH-IN and GREEN DEMOCRACY.

checkmarkHow should colleges work with their local communities?

spacer Invite other groups to come to your showing of the 2% SOLUTION if they aren't having their own, and to the teach-in and GREEN DEMOCRACY. But think outside of the box, too! Host a concert, play, green jobs fair, etc... Think of fun ways to localize Focus the Nation. For tips on how to do this, check out the FORUM.
