Marisa Pond  graduated from the University of Portland in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science as well as a minor in Sociology.  During her senior year she worked on water issues, especially those surrounding bottled water and water privatization during her capstone class. She, along with some of her fellow classmates, aided the administration at the University of Portland to finally make the campus wide decision to ban the selling of bottled water.  Prior to working with Focus the Nation Marisa worked as an Intern at the Oregon Sierra Club. During her spare time Marisa enjoys reading.
