January 31, 2008: Who Came

A key component of Focus the Nation 2008 was Green Democracy — a day for citizens and their elected representatives to discuss policy solutions to global warming. Nationwide 19 US Senators, 45 US Representatives, 15 Governors' offices and countless local and state politicians took part in the discussion. Many participated in the conversation via Sight Speed internet video-chats, a carbon-neutral tool for DC-district engagement. For some highlights check out the compilation video.
